Books I Reread Over and Over Again

booksirereadoverandoveragain

We all have our favourite books. The ones that we could reread over and over again. Sometimes it’s hard to even put a finger on why we love them so much. It might be relatable characters or a plot that is pure escapism. For me, I hold a soft spot for books that I read in my younger years. These are the ones that I will constantly go back to and read. It’s a way for me to relive my childhood and recapture nostalgic feelings and emotions. Rereading a favourite book is like a mug of hot chocolate on a winter’s night, a hug from a friend or unicorns. Pure joy. These are my favourites…

YA Wrap Up: The Winner’s Trilogy, Summer Skin & Maybe Someday

This year I have once again set a 50 book reading challenge. After a strong start to the year – I got sucked into the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning and binged read most of the books in the space of a month – things have now slowed down a bit. However, this last month has actually been pretty spectacular for me book wise. I read The Winner’s Trilogy (definitely going to be one of my top reads for 2016), Kirsty Eagar’s Summer Skin and finally I branched out and read some NA (New Adult) by Colleen Hoover. Check out my thoughts on them below ūüôā

April: Read, Watch, Go, Do

I know it’s such a cliche to say this, but last month went extremely quickly. Sadly, I wasn’t as productive as I hoped to be and quite a few of my goals weren’t met (practising Italian every day on Duolingo and hanging pictures around the house). BUT I did manage to complete a couple of my other goals! One was to make a cocktail (which I did when I put together a batch of Sangria) and another was to try a new recipe. Not only did I make bagels from scratch last month but I also made the most delicious blueberry and peanut butter chia puddings. Having never had chia pudding before I was delighted by how tasty and moreish it was. Looking ahead, I’m glad that the stress and overindulgence of Easter is over and I look forward to having a bit more time to get stuff done (fingers crossed). Check out the April book and movie releases that I am looking forward to, Melbourne events that I want to go to and a few personal goals that I will hopefully meet this month.

What’s up, March? You sure did come around quickly. I’m looking ahead at all the books, movies and Melbourne events that are coming up in March. I’m also setting some monthly goals (eek!) in an attempt to make the most out of every day. I figure if I write it down here that will make me somewhat accountable and I will (hopefully) achieve some of my goals. Check it out below and let me know what you think in the comments ūüôā
