You’ve probably heard of Schitt’s Creek. I knew it existed for years but was put off by the silly name. Should have known better than to judge a TV show by it’s title! Jane the Virgin, That ’70s Show and Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place? All great comedies.
Thankfully, after multiple recommendations, I finally started watching and then ended up bingeing four seasons in a month. What I didn’t realise before I started watching Schitt’s Creek was that it’s Canadian, co-created by the great Eugene Levy and his son Dan and basically a flipped version of The Beverly Hillbillies. If that’s not incentive enough to dive in, here are 10 more reasons to watch Schitt’s Creek!
It’s the Romance is a Bonus Book finale! It’s been a sweet and sentimental, funny and, at times, sad journey, but I have truly loved every minutes of it. So, will we finally find out the truth about Kang Byeong-jun and his relationship to Seo-jun? Of course we will! This is a K-drama after all! Let’s dive in for the last time!
Second last week, everyone! And this week’s episodes hit me right in the feels – I was a teary mess, I admit it. But looks like the writers are going to keep us guessing right until the very end. So let’s go ahead and recap episodes 13 and 14 of Romance is a Bonus Book. Spoilers ahead!
We are more than halfway through Romance is a Bonus Book and there’s still so much we don’t know. Things definitely escalated in this week’s episodes – especially after last week’s cliffhanger! So let’s get this recap party started. Remember – spoilers are ahead, as always!
Here’s what I’m hoping for in this week’s episodes of Romance is a Bonus Book: more jealous Eun-ho, some realisation from Dan-i that she’s in love with Eun-ho, and some sort of confirmation that Seo-jun is either a creep or a nice guy. Regarding Seo-jun, I’ll take either possibility – I just want to know either way. So, without further ado, let’s get into this week’s episodes. Spoilers ahead!
Well. Having seen episode 6, I’d say episode 5 almost qualifies as a ‘filler’ episode – where nothing much really happens because there’s going to be some big reveals in the following episode. And reveals there were! Let’s dive in to this week’s recap. Remember: spoilers are ahead!
I’ve got to say this show is making me want to wrap myself in chunky knitwear, curl up with a book for a week and eat kimchi stew. Anyone else? I’m in Australia where we’ve just come out of a heatwave (so knitwear isn’t really appropriate), and while I might have access to books all day, I certainly don’t know how to make kimchi stew. Anyway, enough about me and what this show is doing to me. Let’s dive into episodes 3 and 4 of Romance is a Bonus Book. Beware: spoilers ahead!
K-drama fans, there’s a new release on our Netflix screens – and Aussie fans, this includes us! Romance is a Bonus Book just started airing in Korea and it looks like we will be getting episodes just one day later than Korean viewers.
I’ve been eagerly anticipating the release of this drama. As an editor and book nerd, anything set in a publishing house immediately draws me in, and Romance is a Bonus Book didn’t disappoint. I’ll be recapping the episodes weekly. So spoilers ahead, and let’s dive in!
