After seven (LONG) years of twists, turns, plot holes and ridiculous storylines, Pretty Little Liars has ended and everyone’s life is now a bit more empty because of it. Luckily, before the post-PLL funk could really set in, Keegan Allen, who plays Toby Cavanaugh, visited the land down under to attend Oz Comic Con 2017 (July 1-2) in Melbourne, Australia. While I wasn’t a huge fan of Tobias while watching PLL, Keegan Allen is such a cool guy and listening to him answer fan questions made me appreciate not only the actor but the character he played. Here are 14 things I learned about Keegan Allen at Oz Comic Con.

Oz Comic Con hit Melbourne, Australia this weekend (July 1-2) and we jumped at the chance to unleash our inner geeks and do some celebrity spotting. Not only were cast members from iZombie in attendance (you can see our posts on iZombie brain food here and here), but the amazingly awesome Shannon Purser was down under for Oz Comic Con. You may know Shannon for her role as Barb on Stranger Things or more recently as Ethel Muggs on Riverdale. We were lucky enough to sit in on her panel and get the inside scoop on everything Riverdale.
One of my favourite aspects of The CW’s Riverdale are the fantastic outfits that the cast wear. Each character has their own distinct and enviable style. There is one character above all others that I love seeing dressed-up and dressed-down; Riverdale’s very own weirdo, Jughead Jones. Jughead, played by Cole Sprouse, is usually wearing his trademark grey crown beanie and layered flannels. His “S” t-shirt and hanging suspenders are also part of his signature look. Being a little bit (okay, a lot) in love with Jughead Jones (and let’s be real – Cole Sprouse), I decided to compile a ranking of my favourite outfits that he has worn in season 1. Here are the 15 best Jughead Jones outfits, ranked. Leave a comment below with your favourite Juggie outfits!
Are you organising a girls weekend getaway? Want it to be the most epic girls weekend ever? Here are 10 rules to make sure your girls weekend is the GOAT.*
*These rules are Cactus Pop certified. The Cactus Pop crew recently went on a short trip to the Great Ocean Road, and while it wasn’t without its dramas (one broken car window, mild car-sickness and a plague of spiders in our accommodation) we still managed to have an amazing time.
Silversun was one of the greatest Australian kids tv shows of the early 2000s. Set in the year 2052, Silversun was a sci-fi children’s show that had aliens, romance, cool gadgets and horrible special effects. The series was short-lived and ended on a cliffhanger that people are still upset about today (#SilversunSeason3 #Revival). Thankfully, ABC hasn’t shut down the official Silversunwebsite so us diehard fans (Silvies? Sunnies?) can relive some of those magical moments.
Being a kids tv show the majority of the cast were young at the time of filming. If you have ever wanted to know what happened to your favourite Silversun characters keep reading to find out!

If you are traveling to Japan you may be wondering what are the things you should buy? Japan is well-known for its quirky inventions, cutting-edge technology, and amazing food.
Before I went on my whirlwind 10 day trip to Japan last December, I was very excited about getting my hands on some of Japan’s more unusual products . Alas, I didn’t come across a “sleeping dome indoors head tent” while in Japan, however, I did see plenty of amazing things and brought back some fantastic souvenirs.
Here are 10 things that I purchased in Japan and absolutely loved. Most were practical, some were not so practical….
Cath Crowley is one of my favourite Australian YA authors. She can do no wrong in my eyes. And while I’m still not over the ending of the Gracie Faltrain series (thinking about it now still hurts *sob*), when her latest novel, Words in Deep Blue, was released I knew I had to read it. If you’ve never read any of Cath Crowley’s books or are considering reading Words in Deep Blue, here are 4 reasons why you should drop everything and start reading!
I, like the rest of the Internet, recently became obsessed with the Netflix Original tv series Stranger Things. It’s a thrilling supernatural mystery that kept me on the edge of my seat for the entire 8 episodes. It also kept my work colleagues thoroughly annoyed as I didn’t shut-up about how great it was for weeks. The cast are all exceptional, however, there is one standout character for me in the series. A plump, toothless kid who loves chocolate pudding. Dustin Henderson.
